Fiber and Faster Internet to where it's really needed

You hear more and more everyday from news articles published online to news stories ran in the evening news regarding how the major telecom and tech companies are expanding their fiber networks and that people that really need internet can now get it.  But the one thing that ALL these companies are forgetting, are the little rural towns dotted around America where the only connections to the internet and the world are from monopolies like Centurylink, and Google, just to name a couple.

I have been calling Centurylink monthly just to see when they would be providing higher speed internet in the small town of 900 that I live in in North Central Missouri, and am told every single time, "Sorry, we just don't have plans to expand to that area with our high speed Fiber internet and it also depends on how far you are from the connection."  Centurylink has a telecom depot just a few blocks from my house, but yet they are not going to offer anywhere near 1 Gbps speeds, because according to them, it's just not feasible.  Google has told me the same exact thing.  We have two internet providers, one is from Centurylink that unfortunately only offers 10 mbps down and 1 mbps up and US Cable, based out of Odessa, MO, almost two hours from me and they offer a whopping 20 mbps down and 3 mbps up.  Think we are getting the screw around from these companies.

Google, I would expect to actually want to get this faster internet out to rural towns and cities just to give them something else besides from the controlling monopolies of the internet revolution.

The most ridiculous Presidential Campaign Ever (Or at least in my opinion)

My wife and I have been following the events of the election for President and to be honest, we know we do not want HilLIARy in office.  Kind of reminds me of an episode of the 90's Sci-Fi TV show, Sliders, where they slide into a world where women, not men, rule society.  Female President, etc, takes most men and they are used for nothing but breeding.  This in my mind is what plays out if she is elected, even though I know that it's not reality, it's fun to think outside the box, so to speak.

And then, of course, you have businessman Donald Trump going through spouting off whatever comes to mind, and using no sort of filter really.  I like the honesty that he is proclaiming, unlike Hillary, where she has lied about almost everything.  I mean, how can you say one minute that you are going to get rid of the Coal Industry, and then the next you say you support that industry and that we need it.  A bit two-faced there, wouldn't you say?  Reminds me of my ex-wife.  Yes, Trump can be a little harsh, but hey, would you rather here something true rather than being lied to?  I would.  Everyone honestly needs to get over their "soft" feelings.  Alot of the things that he has said are his opinions.  Has everyone really forgotten that opinions are like buttholes, everyone has them.  Get over yourselves!!

And then you have EmailGate for Clinton.  She should just own up to the fact, that she literally f'ed up amd accept the punishment to be handed down to her.  What the hell is she worried about, she still has the money to be taken care of while in Club Fed.

Clinton gets off on charges

As we all sit around picking up our jaws from the floor from yesterday's pointless news conference from FBI Director James Comey, stating that he will not recommend that charges be brought up on Hillary Clinton for mishandling classified information and doing so by using her own private server set up at her residence, we are wondering just how in the H-E-double Hockey sticks she skirted being prosecuted for this crime.

It just seems to be funny that Secretary Clinton decided to go in on a Saturday, during a holiday weekend to be questioned for Emailgate, as some have referred to it as. Then on Tuesday, July 5th, Director Comey states that no charges will be recommended for Clinton. Something, to me, just doesn't sound right and it shouldn't to you either, if you actually sit back and think about it. My personal opinion, and it may be of others as well, is that someone was paid off during the "questioning". I could be totally wrong, but it just does seem funny that it was on Saturday and then all of a sudden on Tuesday, the day after the holiday, this bombshell was dropped on the American people
And then there was the whole other issue of ex-POTUS Bill Clinton that waited until Lynch arrived at Phoenix airport to sit down, say hi, and just talk about grandchildren and golf. I call bullcrap on this one. You are going to tell me that during that 30 minutes, that no mention of Clintons case was discussed? How could it not have been? I believe that it was mentioned and spoken about.
And then of course, the moment that it was announced that no charges would be recommended for Clinton, Obama jumps on the CLinton train and starts campaigning for her?!?!?!?! Come on now. He was just waiting for that to be said.

Ticketmaster-You still suck

Ticketmaster, oh Ticketmaster.  Let me count the ways....you still screwed everyone out of the ticket codes that you sent out to millions of people.  I ran over the list that Ticketmaster (LiveNation) posted and as it was posted on Tuesday, there were a total of 480 events.  The nearest one to me for the dates listed, Maryland Heights, MO.  Almost a two hour drive away from my hole-in-the-wall town of 900.  And for that matter, there were very limited shows that the codes could be used at.  Don't get me wrong, I like 90's music, but how about opening up those codes to ALOT more concerts and not just the ones that LiveNation sponsors.

Ticketmaster has pissed off a lot of people out there.  Granted be, it;s nice receiving free concert tickets, but at that same time, you shouldn't be able to pick and choose what concerts that the codes can be redeemed for either.  That is how they intended to screw everyone when it came to the settlement.  Did they have it already planned out that way if they lost?  You bet your bottom dollar they more than likely did.

As of today, people are still receiving error messages presented to them regarding that codes cannot be used for certain venues, when they are considered to be on the list of available ones.  This is bringing back no confidence within this company as they are still trying to skirt the decision of the settlement.  Sure they have doled out almost $400 million, but in the long haul, everyone will still stay screwed over.

UPDATE 7/6/2016

As of today, and a week ago or so, all tickets that Ticketmaster have setup for pointless concerts are actually all sold out for code holders. The site states that more are being added periodically, but nothing has been posted as of yet and most of the concerts that are/were listed on the site, are well into the end of this year to the early part of next year.
